About Brakkenfestival

The Brakkengestival has been around since 1988. It is an event for children from 4 to 12 years old who have fun in a responsible way under the guidance of expert volunteers. The event is the largest children's event in Brabant and unique in its kind. An event that Breda is proud of!

 

The event is a non-profit initiative that runs on expert volunteers and a network of companies that make the event possible. It is therefore more than just fun: it is a platform for both social cohesion of volunteers and a platform for companies to reach their target group.

 

Mission
The mission of the Brakkenfestival is to offer children aged 4 to 12 in Breda and its surroundings a meaningful leisure activity in which the event stimulates children socially, educationally, culturally and motorically. It also gives volunteers the opportunity to develop themselves and offers cooperation with a network of companies.
